First swim
We brought Braedyn for a swim at Ma-Ma's condo last Sunday. For the big day we had everything packed in a bag; a small towel (for Brae's head), a big towel (for Brae's body), hubby's towel (unfortunately no towel for me because....I CAN"T SWIM!!), two arm floats, and a set of clean clothes for Brae.
Midwife told us that we could let Brae swim after all his jabs. Brae is allowed to swim or play in the water for not more than 15 minutes. Most importantly, after he gets out of the water, we have to dry his hair quickly, provide him a warm drink and cover him up. This will prevent him from catching a cold.
We did exactly what the midwife told us and we are happy to report that Brae did not fall sick.
Brae's swimming experience
Brae appeared apprehensive when hubby put him at the edge of the pool. Hubby then patted some water on Brae's chest before placing him in the water slowly. As soon as he was in the water, Brae's expression changed to one of shock. He started to whine and cry. Hubby quickly tried to distract him by bringing him for a spin round the baby pool. After which, Brae stopped crying and started enjoying himself.

Hey, you better make sure that your hubby's eyes don't wander around the pool. Most guys LOVE swimming for the eye-candy.
Cheers!!!
Can't swim??? In this day and age. You'd better sign up for swim classes otherwise.....
"Jack, Jack....don't leave me here."
"Jack?"
aiyoyo...soooo chuuubby! *pinch pinch* I haven't brought Belle for a swim but will get a small inflatable pool for her very soon.
I also want to pinch Brae :)So nice of your hubbt to teach him to swim at such a tender age. That reminds me should start teaching my kids...am waaaaaay behind. Lol
Everytime I come here, I just want to say.."Your baby is sooo......CUTE!"

Actually, I don't agree to let Brae swim at his tender age, but hubby insists....what to do. *sigh*
What on earth!!!!!
If don't swim now, then there is a very high chance of Braedyn ending up like you. Lulu dear.....you can't even float on your back.
1 only have a pair of arms which I will probably need (together with my expired life-saving course) to keep the both of us afloat should we be involved in a shipwreak. I fully expect Braedyn to look after himself.
Of course, unless you offer to go for swim classes yourself :)
